The death occurred on November 7 at Matale of Mr L P Bulner, an old and respected resident of Kandy, Ceylon. The deceased was 84 years of age. When death occurred he was on a visit to Mrs. Hatch (wife of the Superintendent of Works, Matale), one of his daughters.
The deceased leaves behind seven sons and several daughters.
Of the sons,
Mr F W Bulner is the head of the firm of Bulner Bros.,
Mr Arthur Bulner is the Deputy Postmaster at Kandy,
Mr Charles Bulner is employed on an estate,
Mr Eddie Bulner is motor engineer,
Mr Percy Bulner is the manager of a hotel in Siam, and
Mr John Bulner is an assistant of the firm of Bulner Brothers.
He also leaves behind a host of other relatives.
